The songs
It all began as a Christmas present: take my dad into a professional studio to record some of our favourite songs and one of his originals (El bufón). I could not think in a better way to express my gratitude for all his inspiration since I was a kid.
He learnt to play guitar with some “strings” made of wool attached to a piece of wood that he built. He practised at his grandmother’s house because his father was not so fan of his musical adventures. Now I wanted him to feel like a real artist, a star!

It’s a big story
The original idea was just to record some tracks to enjoy at home. But the providence prepared something special for us. The photographer and videographer from Norway Thomas Züllich was in Spain at that time in his camper van together with Einstein, a young sweet border collier. I was so happy when he asked if he could drop by at the studio to take some pictures.
The day after, we met for breakfast to review the material, and he told me: “I feel it is not enough to tell the story which is behind. It’s a big story. I feel a lot when I see you two”. That’s when we decided to shoot this interview and share this short documentary with all of you.
It has been amazing to receive all your feedback and love, listening how this story brought you memories with your beloved ones. That means a lot to us.
